Currently, when you go into ranked like sumo 1v1 you are given a random class and you can choose the car.

One drawback to this is there are only a couple of classes and only one car is the best out of each class, leaving you to only a couple of actual vehicle choices if you want to be the most competitive. Another one is that the selection menu vehicles are a lot less compared to the large vehicle pool in the game, giving you less total options.



I'd like to suggest that for each match everyone playing gets the exact same random vehicle from the entire vehicle pool, and can customize that vehicle before starting. 

The advantage of this is that everyone will always have the same car making it as fair as possible (the main point of ranked), and you will basically never get the same car twice, meaning a completely new experience each game requiring a different set of skills to control each vehicle, also beneficial for longevity. Not only that but you have the potential to get cars which you don't have in the selection menu like Brickade, Dump, RC bandito, and entire tiers of classes that are missing from the selection/hosting menu.
