QoL improvements in character personalization - Zaerin -  05-29-2023




The character creator (except the apparel tab) could maybe get an improvement on it's UI. Right now it's very basic and some sliders work the other way around as expected. For example, the Lip Thickness should make them bigger when it's to the right but it's the opposite.



Best case scenario would be having the same character creation UI as GTA Online has , it would make people coming from there to be able to copy their characters in some extent to Mega's (excluding body tattoos). Apart that it would let you have that finesse while moving the sliders, right now it's only like 10 options per slider



In the Outfit area, since we won't be able to create our own outfits, could be adding a new selector menu called "Player's Choice" where some preset outfits could be added into. 

The process to adding them could be that only TBO can suggest one option to add in there, or having an entire new option here in the forums, or new channel in the Discord, where people could submit possible outfits and the most voted ones get added in future updates.



Take in mind I don't have a clue how bad would be doing the Outfit part but at least you wouldn't need to code every outfit part, and you would already know if the outfit is not glitched or gives an advantage in some gamemodes.

I understand the rejection on the Outfit part as you have explained. But the first part was never mentioned (the UI improvement). Should I consider it as the same on "we could be working in other stuff"?

I mean it wouldnt be that bad to just make players choose from jackets, hoodies, shirts, pants, shoes etc. on their own? Rather than make preset outfits. Thats just my opinion and i think this would make some people happy.
