BEFORE you dislike/thumbs down PLEASE visit the forums and comment on WHY, these are suggestions and I'm happy to make changes. (Also visit the forums to read this since Discord does not seem to update if the post gets edited)
Some of these are already suggestions. I've built on top of that.
Can we split up RACES at the HUB into two categories/portals?
RACES (Casual)
Face-to-Face
Transform (as it is right now. Its own thing because it's very popular overshadowing other race modes [already a suggestion by Bing Chilling#6835])
Races smaller modes (stash the cash, GTA, etc
RACES (Competitive)
Transform (everyone gets the same cars [different cars every time it's played] no slipstream or catchup if non-contact is chosen, more on that later)
Time Trails (as it is right now, or even add class selection to significantly increase each tracks
potential worth [Different records per class. Get them records champs!])
Time Trail $ (Every week/month a random track and car/bike is selected. The fastest lap time that week/month would receive some kind of a perk or a gift card [Rky Smart#4090 mentioned he would like to do something like that])
Races (street, lap knockout, speedtrap, time attack [get to vote for car class, however then after that, a random selection of 6 vehicles will show, and the players will vote on the vehicle that they will all race in, already a suggestion by Skry#8888])
(I've probably missed some race types and similar suggestions, please make me aware and i will add them)
New type of slipstream:(if possible) No speed benefit of being behind someone [no longer are you going to get "sucked into corners" at silly speeds even though you are braking] but you will still charge up the "E BOOST" if you stay behind someone for long enough, giving you a burst of speed for a short time, allowing you to overtake people actively defending for positions.(similar to F1/open wheel KERS, but not charging/recharging from braking/letting go of the throttle)
The quality of content that the STAFF/DEVS put into the server is extremely high, so i ask my self how would a competitive racing scene made by these people look like? This is why I'm writing this, hopefully it gets enough traction to be considered <3(please share this around). I believe this happening would also attract a great amount of people to the server.
Q: What do you mean no slipstream or catchup, how am I supposed to win if I start all the way back of the grid?
A:I've asked STAFF/DEVS if it's possible for everyone in a race to start at the exact same location and the answer was: YES. Therefore, all of us now would start with no advantages and nobody would be in your way to victory! (non-contact). Contact races could have the suggested new type of slipstream or the current slipstream. Race starts would still be everyone in the same position, with the first lets say.. 30 seconds of the race being non-contact so the field of racers spreads out.(as it is right now)
Obviously there is more than one suggestion here, if you like one but not another please discuss it (don't dislike it just because you disagree with 20% of what is written here). I doubt all of this would be added even if there was overwhelmingly good feedback. But we can try!
