As we stand regarding racing, we have Six Racing types that accompany always with votes
- Beat the Bomb
- Lap Knockout
- Speedtrap Race
- Stash the Cash
- Street Race
- Time Attack Race
As racing developments go forward, more modes should be considered that can add to the experience and give more options as well as prevent always having one type of race all the time.
Enter Relay Race, the basic premise and core concept of this mode is that tracks will always be Point to Point and Circuits Medium I - Long I, and cars (and sometimes drivers) switch at the start of a different segment in the race.
No Vehicle voting is done in this mode, and preparation times are longer so people can prepare their chosen cars for each Section. And track preview goes first, following with car selections.
Six Potential Options:
- GTA Relay [Gun Points return, but each segment ending checkpoint will cause engine problems for your car/bike that cripple and eventually kill the car/bike, Starter Vehicle is voted]
- Mixed Class Relay [Vehicle Type and its Class are randomized for every section]
- Same Class Relay [Vehicle Type are randomized for every section, all options will stay in a certain class (as of recent available ones D-S)]
- Team Relay (Mixed) [Teams of depending sizes (Up to 6 per sector), teams that do not have the required number will have people doing multiple segments, Clans are put together as long as 2 of the same are in the game, Vehicle Type and its Class are randomized for every section]
- Team Relay (One Vehicle) [Teams of depending sizes (Up to 6 per sector) try to win it together, teams that do not have the required number will have people doing multiple segments, Clans are put together as long as 2 of the same are in the game, the first segment runners decide the vehicle everyone else will use to get it to the finish line]
- Team Relay (Same Class) [Teams of depending sizes (Up to 6 per sector) try to win it together, teams that do not have the required number will have people doing multiple segments, Clans are put together as long as 2 of the same are in the game, Vehicle Type are randomized for every section, all options will stay in a certain class (as of recent available ones D-S)]
